If you are not in a position to take an animal in there are many
other ways you can help:-
DONATIONS
Either as a one off or on a more regular basis. Standing order forms, if
required are available on request.
COLLECTING TINS
Do you know of any premises where we could place a collecting tin.
TRANSPORT
This mainly involves the collection of animals, usually locally but we do
take a lot from South Wales and the Forest of Dean and this can entail
trips to Cardiff or the Severn Bridge Services if we can get people to meet
us; then delivery to a foster home or boarding kennels. On occasions we
may need to get an animal to a vet in an emergency.
As well as animals there are often collections to be made from donors
such as food, equipment or items to sell at car boot sales.
FUNDRAISING
One area where help is always needed is at car boot sales and fayres,
either actively involved in the selling or perhaps just ferrying someone
and their goods to and from the sale; unfortunately this sometimes
involves getting up at some ridiculous hour on a Sunday morning!!

HOST AN EVENT
As well as helping at a fundraising event you could also organise one
yourself: a coffee morning, table top sale, raffle, quiz night or other
sponsored event.
You can also make collections of bric-a-brac and books for sale and used
postage stamps, aluminium cans and print cartridges ·all of which can be
sold for re-cycling.
STORAGE
Apart from collecting and selling items we are always desperate for
somewhere to store them so if you have any spare room in a shed, garage
or even indoors we would be very grateful.
SPONSORSHIP
If you are not in a position to take an animal into your home you might like
to sponsor one that is currently in our care either awaiting a new home or
undergoing veterinary treatment.
Monthly sponsorship fees are:-
Cats and Kittens - £5.00 Dogs and Puppies - £6.00 Rabbits etc. - £3.00
Sponsors will receive a certificate, photo and letters about their chosen
animal and details of those currently available for sponsor are available on
request.
If you would like to help out with any of the above or if you have any
other ideas please give us a ring and we will be happy to have a chat. Call Ange on 0117 986 8005 or email
